Collection Galactica Lip Butter - Moon Rock

Hello lovelies!

Welcome to the third post on the Collection Galactica Lip Butters. If you missed my previous reviews or are a new follower to my blog (hi!) you can see the posts on Pink Rush & Cosmic Candy from a few weeks back by clicking on the links.

& for now, let me introduce Moon Rock.

Moon Rock is quite a different shade to the previous two lip butters Collection released in this range. It's a nude shade with a slight shimmer. Again, the formula is perfect for my lips & it's a gorgeous shade to wear when you want a more natural look.

I absolutely adore these lip butters from Collection (incase you couldn't already tell!) I just wish they would bring out a few more shades, would love to try a cherry red in this formula.

Have you tried any of this range? What did you think? : )

Collection Galactica Lip Butter - Cosmic Candy

Hello lovelies,

I wrote a post a few weeks ago about the limited edition Galactica Lip Butter in Pink Rush from Collection. Since purchasing it, I've had to go back to find the other two as I was so in love with Pink Rush!

So here we go, number 2 - Cosmic Candy.

This one is a pearly pink shade & not as vibrant as Pink Rush. It's still a very flattering colour & applies onto the lips very smoothly. I'd say this was more a subtle day shade for every day wear where as Pink Rush is more suited to the evening.

Again, £2.99 - you can't go wrong with that!

I've reviewed the final shade Moon Rock here & you can see my review on Pink Rush here : )

Collection Galactica Lip Butter - Pink Rush

Hello lovelies!

Now you know I can't resist a lip product - especially a limited addition lip butter! This one from Collection is slowly become one of my all time favourites.

I picked up the shade Pink Rush from Boots a few weeks ago. It's the brightest shade out of the three, a gorgeous purpley pink. What I love most about this lip butter is first of all the price.. you can't go wrong with £2.99! & secondly, the packaging. I hate any product where I have to sharpen it to use it. This one you simply turn the bottom to push the lip butter up.

My lips hate matte formulas because they are always so dry & cracked, even in the Summer time. So lip butters are perfect for me : )

The only downside to these is there aren't enough shades! Collection have only bought out three; Pink Rush, Cosmic Candy & Moon Rock. I popped into town yesterday with my friend Lorna & managed to scoop up the other two shades! So a review on those will be coming soon. : )

Have you tried these lip butters or any of Collection's makeup range?

Nivea Lip Butter - Raspberry Rose

Afternoon lovelies! Hope you're all well.

I thought I'd show you one of my latest purchases, the Nivea Lip Butter. My mum actually got this in a set for Christmas & it just smelled so good I had to go out & buy my own!

First of all, the packaging. I love it, so simple & but very true to the product. The lip butter, as you'd expect has a very creamy texture & although it's light pink in pigmentation, it appears white / opaque on the lips.

I suffer from very dry lips all through out the year. Using a product like this as a base & top coat for a lipstick really does make a difference. I usually put it on before bed so it can soak in over night & then as a top coat over lipsticks in the daytime.

Even if your not a fan of this type of lip product, all you need to do is go & smell it & it'll win you over. Seriously. : )

What have you been wearing on your lips recently?

Revlon Lip Butter

Buying these wasn't really a choice, it was a necessity.

Could that sentence sound any more dramatic?! Haha. But seriously, everyone has been talking about these lip butters. Once my Boots had finally re-stocked them, I couldn't help but pick one up.

After trying & falling in love with the Berry Smoothie, I went back & purchased Sweet Tart. So now I own two. I can see this ending badly..

They retail at £7.99 (currently £2 off so I got Sweet Tart for £5.99!) & in my opinion, totally worth it. I always wear lipstick but find it dries out my lips really quickly. The lip butter is perfect for me, it manages to provide long lasting colour, while keeping my lips moisturised.
