What I've Been Wearing On My Nails #40

This is one of my favourite nail arts as it's so subtle but unique. Barry M glitters are so lovely as they look really effective, but aren't too difficult to remove, as some glitter polishes can be. Hologram always makes me think of that Dre song from years ago!

Ted Baker (no name sorry!)
This was one of the shades James bought me in a gift set at Christmas time & I love it so much! Just look at that shine.. I feel so glam when I wear it.

& what makes these nails even more glam? Throwing on a bit of glitter of course! I know I literally just typed Barry M glitter polishes are my favs, but Nails Inc are seriously on a different level (even though they are more difficult to remove) Just look at that sparkle.

Rimmel London - Tangy Tangerine
Ok, so I dreamt I had orange nails, I woke up & painted my nails orange. I actually used to hate orange nail polishes, but now I find them such a statement colour to have in my collection. This Rimmel London polish is just perfect for me. It's not bright & surprisingly goes with a lot of outfits.

What I've Been Wearing On My Nails #35

Fearne Cotton -  Coral Island & Golden Touch
I love how you can see my nails transitioning from Summer to Autumn in this post! With this first nail art design, I tried to do an ombre glitter effect. It honestly looked better in real life! I used a sponge to get the glitter stronger at the top of the nail & worked my way down to the base.

Ciate - Island Hopping
As you can see, I was still craving glitter in my life at this point, so I used one of my Ciate Mini polishes I got for Christmas last year. I love this shade. I never used to wear orange on my nails, but definitely warming to it this year.

Rimmel London - Berries & Cream
This colour is the definition of Autumn. I'm obsessed with it. I do tend to wear this shade all through the year but it comes into its own in the colder months.

Essie - Ruffles & Feathers / Models Own Nail Art Pen - Gold
& finally my favourite design that I've done over the last few months. I might even go as far as to say my favourite ever Autumn nail art. It took me ages to do the leaves but I was so proud of this one when I'd finished. I'll definitely be doing this again next year!

July & August Favourites

You might remember seeing this shower cream featured in my latest Boots Haul at the beginning of the month. When I picked it up, obviously I was amazed at the scent, but I never knew I would fall in love with it as much as I have. It's so light & fresh & perfect when you want that extra lift in the morning. I'd highly recommend this product, along with the other beautiful new scents Imperial Leather have recently released. (The marshmallow one is also to die for!)

I was in Superdrug a while back & walked past the MUA stand & this beautiful lip balm caught my eye. I love the MUA lip sticks, they have always been one of my favourite lip products to use & at such a steal as well, you really can't go wrong for £1. This sweet sheen lip balm retails at £2, so I thought I'd give it a go. As you can see, I obviously love it as it's featuring in my favourites this month. Firstly I have to say I was surprised by the colour it came out on my lips. It was a lighter red than the packaging suggests but it's absolutely stunning & although it doesn't last as long as I'd like, every time you top it up, it applies so smoothly onto the lips.

If you guys haven't seen the new range by the blogger Zoella, you really need too! She has recently released a second collection of beautiful products, including this 'Scrubbing Me Softly' body scrub. I've done a full review here if you'd like a read, but to sum it up, I'm in love with this scrub!

Again, another product by Zoella, but I just can't seem to get enough of this lip balm! My favourite thing about this product is the pigmentation. When you first apply it to your lips, the colour is simply stunning. Again, if you'd like to read more about it, you can in a full post here.

This mascara. What can I say? I want to do a full post reviewing it so won't say too much on here, but I've been using it all this month & feel it really has made a difference to my 'everyday face'. It really does lengthen & adds so much volume to my lashes.

My two most played songs this month! Not much to say about them really except I love them & they've been on repeat! Love how I've been singing the Marvin Gaye song so much my friends keep sending me snapchats of the song.. hahaha!

Just wanted to mention as well, that August has been one of the busiest months of my life! 7 birthdays, a hen do, a wedding, full time work + celebrations, James moving out of his flat & a range of different social events has made me so exhausted. But, myself & James are off to France on holiday for a week today! I'm massively looking forward to some relaxation time, despite the weather not looking great.. I was all packed with my bikinis & summer dresses in my suitcase to find we have highs of 22 degrees. Not great, but hopefully better than the weather in the UK.

Hope you've all had a fabulous August!
Please link me to your favourites post's, I'd love to read them : )

Nails #15

Nails Inc - Covent Garden & Claire's Accessories Nail Stickers
Absolutely lovin' these cute nail stickers from Claire's Accessories to jazz up your nails. They look so pretty with pastel shades.

Barry M Gelly Shine - Sugar Apple
If you saw my last post, you'd know how obsessed I am with Barry M at the moment. Especially their Gelly range. The shades are so beautiful & amazingly pigmented.

Barry M Gelly Shine - Pomegranate
This one is becoming my favourite shade for the Summer. I'm in love with pinky reds. They can totally make an outfit.

Barry M - Pale Blue
One of my all time favourites again. Such a classic blue.

Barry M - Peach Melba
I think every blogger owns this shade by Barry M! I couldn't resist digging it out of my collection again this year. So perfect for Spring.

Models Own - Indian Ocean & Rimmel London - Disco Ball
This combination just makes me think of the sea & I like to think I'm a mermaid when I'm wearing it. Sad? Maybe.. but it is a gorgeous combination! : )

Hope you're all well lovelies!

Recent Nails #9

Sinful Colors - Big Daddy

I never used to this like this colour on the nails. You know, that weird in-between shade of orange & red but oh my gosh, I'm obsessed with it now. I think Sinful Colors have created the perfect contrast between a pastel & a bright. I'm super impressed.

Sinful Colors - Pink Forever / Models Own nail art pen in white & black

You have no idea how proud I am of these! Haha, yes I know, there is a lot of nail art designs that are harder to do than this one, but for my first attempt? Not bad huh? Again, this pink shade is too adorable. : )

Rimmel - Too Cool To Tango / Models Own nail art pen in white

Polka dots? On my nails? Never. Well, ok.. maybe a lot.

ELF - Mint Cream

This polish is so beautiful, it's sad I don't use it more often. The mint green is perfect for Summer & even though ELF polishes are devils to remove, I've only ever had one that was prone to chipping, the rest are so long lasting, including this one. And only £1.50? It's a bargain.

What have you been painting on your nails recently?
& make sure you check out my other nail art posts if you enjoyed this one : )

Recent Nail Art #8

Barry M - Turquoise & Models Own - Snowflake

I absolutely love this topcoat. I always seem to forget about it in Summer & it gets hidden away in my collection, but it leaves such a gorgeous effect on my nails I don't know why I don't use it more through out the year.

Rimmel - Marshmallow Heaven

Not exactly nail art but I just wanted to show you this shade. It's beautiful but didn't last that long on my nails sadly.

Maybelline - Speckled Pink

You might've seen my previous nail art post where I featured another Polka Dot varnish by Maybelline. I wasn't massively impressed by it when I painted it straight onto my nails as opposed to using it with a base coat. So this time, I just used a purple pink varnish underneath (not visible when you paint the polka dots over the top) & it managed to stay perfect for a good few days (as opposed to chipping after half a day of wear)

Barry M - Lemon Ice Cream, La Femme Beauty - Emerald & Models Own nail art pen in White

& finally my Wimbledon nails! I won't go on about these as they featured in my last post, but if you'd like to read about my Wimbledon adventure, you can here.

& if you like these posts, make sure you check out my other nail art features! : D
