OOTD - Blue Stripes

Hello lovelies!

I haven't uploaded an outfit post since.. last July. Oh dear. I actually love looking back over my blog to see my outfits (& most of the time be thinking "what the hell was I wearing?!") But I think it's important to see how your style changes as you get older & wiser. I really should post more, especially now I have my new tripod!

So, on to today's outfit.

Fedora & Sunnies - Primark
Tights - Tesco
Boots & Pom Pom - Ebay

I'm actually in love with this shirt dress. I saw it in the ASOS sale & knew I had to grab it! I chose to style it with my new fedora from Primark & shopper bag from Select.

I needed a new handbag at the end of last year & despite me always having everything but the kitchen sink piled in there, it's lasted pretty well. Select Fashion have the most beautiful bags for such a good price, definitely check them out if you're looking for one!

& finally, my beautiful knee high boots. What can I say? They are basically my most worn item of footwear from the past 6 months & I adore them. They are surprisingly comfy & don't fall down unlike some boots I've tried in the past.

Hope you're having a wonderful weekend lovelies, let me know if you'd like to see more outfit posts on my blog! Makes a change from my beauty review & life update posts : )

Travel Perfume Bottle

Hello lovelies,

If you follow me on Twitter, you might have seen me mention I'm going on holiday to France with James in a few weeks time. I really wanted to get my hands on a travel perfume bottle for my handbag. I have always found them so useful, especially when travelling. I mean, who wants to drag around a massive perfume bottle on holiday?

Ebay was the first place I thought of looking for one & I found this adorable heart-shaped bottle.

It's so affordable & perfect sized for your handbag. The seller also does different designs, so you can also order the regular bottles or go for these cool heart designs if you prefer. They come in a wide range of colours.

I find these perfect for travelling or nights away from home, as well as being lighter than a full bottle, you can also use them when you feel you need to top up your perfume throughout the day.

Which is your favourite scent to wear in Summer? : )

Christmas Jumper Wishlist 2014

In honour of Christmas Jumper Day, I thought it was only appropriate to do a Christmas jumper wishlist! So here we go..

1 Nothing beats the traditional Christmas jumper. This one is a total bargain on Ebay.

2 If your not really into the 'over-the-top' designs this Christmas, this simple but cute one from Topshop would be ideal. I love the forest green colour.

3 I couldn't resist including this one from New Look (not sure if it's from the teenage section or not) but it just looks so soft & warm!

4 Another simple but gorgeous number from Topshop.

5 I've had my eye on this one from Select Fashion for a while now but just haven't been able to get it in my size. The little snowman's nose & snowballs on the jumper are 3D which just adds to it's overall character.

6 & finally this cute polar bear jumper from New Look. Such a sweet design.

Have you got your Christmas jumper on today?

I think it's such a good charity to raise money & awareness for, I've got my whole workplace involved this year! Make sure you check out #XMASJUMPERDAY on Twitter & Instagram & head over to Save The Children UK to donate!

Recent Purchases

Chunky Heeled Sandals - BooHoo
Ah, my new favourite shoes! I simply adore these sandals! I picked them up from BooHoo a few weeks back. I sadly didn't get to take them on holiday but I have managed to wear them out a few times before saying goodbye to them till next Spring. They'll be a full post on them soon!

Pug Pillow - Tesco
A pug. With a bow tie. On a pillow. Need I say more? I just had to have it!

One Tree Hill Complete Box Set - Amazon
Ok, hands up who used to watch this? I thought buying the box set was a brilliant idea now James has gone back to uni.. I need something to watch in my spare time!

Vanilla Body Butter - Boots
I took this to Greece with me & now every time I use it now I'm home, it just brings back all the memories of an amazing holiday. Such a gorgeous scent.

Orly Nail Varnishes - TK Max
These Orly nail varnishes have to be my find of the month. The beautiful blue polish is stunning on the nails but I found the glitter top coat quite runny, but in proportion they are both amazing. I think I got them for around £3.99 as opposed to around £10 in TK Max.

Nail Art Pens - Ebay
Such a bargain! I bought these a few weeks ago & have yet to use them but they were between £1-2 from Ebay. Perfect for adding those intricate details to your nail art.

Express Nail Polish Remover - Boots
I'm actually so excited to try this. I wear a lot of glitter top coats on my nails & scrubbing them with nail varnish remover & a cotton pad doesn't exactly do them much good. I bought it in the Boots clearance section & have seriously high hopes for it.

Strawberry & Pomegranate Shower Gel - TK Max
Another Summery scent, but this shower gel doubles up as a bubble bath. The only down side is it doesn't foam up very much, but I'm loving the pump feature.

Mango & Mandarin Candle - Matalan
Summer is almost over & as we're coming into Autumn, I'm finding it very hard to let go of the sunshine & holiday spirit. This candle is all about the memories. It was around £4 in Matalan, total bargain.

Wella Hairspray - Boots
I remember using this hairspray before I went on to L'Oreal a few years ago, but as it was on offer & I needed one for holiday, I picked it up. It's ok, but does set your hair if not sprayed very finely & away from your head.

What have you bought recently? Any bargains? : )

A Very White Wishlist

Ebay Chunky Heeled Sandal
I know some people will hate these, but oh my goodness I'm in love with them! I ordered them last week & can't wait for them to arrive.

New Look Skater Dress
How cute is this dress? Perfect for Summer evenings on holiday.

BooHoo Skater Sundress
Again, very similar to the New Look dress, but so so so beautiful!

New Look White & Black Tote Bag
I am seriously in need of a new bag. I seem to carry more stuff around with me than I need & the handles on my bag always seem to break. This one is just perfect for going into Autumn / Winter.

Topshop Floral High Waisted Shorts
I'm really not into denim shorts anymore, but these ones were too cute to not include on this list, just look at that print!

Topshop Scrunchie
I'm lovin' the fact the scrunchie trend is back in, I used to wear them in my hair all the time!

What are you currently lusting over? : )

Obsessed..? Maybe..

Hello lovelies,

I don't know about you, but I take my phone everywhere. I'm not necessarily proud of that fact, but it's true. Of course, it wouldn't be "my phone" if it wasn't pink or slightly unusual. I wanted to show you some of the cases I've managed to acquire while having my iphone 4s. (I'm missing about two cases from this collection.. but this is the majority!)

I bought them all on Ebay, stretching from £79p - £4.99. Most of them are from China, you can basically get any design you want on eBay these days!

As you can see, the majority are pink, just my little blue whale at the bottom there is the odd one out. He is actually fabulous. He comes with different shaped eyes so you can choose his expression & even a tail designed for your headphones to wrap around. The cases at the top (the sparkly bling-ed up ones) were my first obsession. I still love them, but I find having a gel case so much easier than a plastic case.

My favourite one has to be the rabbit, just look at those cheeks! It looks very chunky to hold, but it actually fits to your hand so well. Oh & the pug one.. yes I agree it's ugly.. there was just something cute about it that caught my eye.. : ' )

Sorry if this post isn't really your cup of tea, but I love looking at people's phone cases. Maybe I'm just weird..

Have you got a favourite case for your phone?

OOTD - Foxy Lady

Hat - Ebay / Smock fox dress - ASOS / Tights & belt - Primark / Converse - Schuh / Nails - Accessorize, Blackberry / Rings - Etsy & F. Hinds / Watch - F. Hinds / Lipstick - Star Pink
 Morning lovelies!

This was my outfit a few days ago when I went into town to meet the girls for a catchup & some pancakes! Can you believe it was actually sunny when I first started taking these photos, then the clouds came over. Gah hurry up Spring! Anyway, on to the outfit! I'm absolutely in love with this new smock dress I got from ASOS. I picked it up in the sale (I remember it being massive among bloggers a few months back) & I can easily see why. I do really like the over-sized smock look, but this one resembles a tent! I paired it with a old trusty Primark belt & converse to give it a chilled vibe. Also, I can't fail to mention my new hat. How adorable is this?! I managed to find one on Ebay, as none of the ones I'd previously found in any high street stores had been calling my name. I picked this one up for around £7 (that included postage) Such a bargain.

I went to a Customer Training Course yesterday up in London. You have no idea how scared & important I felt! Most of you know, I work in my local theatre / cinema & so the idea of the course was to get new ideas for up-selling & understanding customer behaviour. It was actually very interesting, & although I was so so so nervous (mainly about the course but also the travelling up there) I had the most lovely people around me that I was so grateful for. I'm actually excited to go into work today & try out the new ideas.. it must have been a good course eh? : )

& finally, lent has begun. It's totally snuck up on me this year, I haven't even thought about what to give up..
Have you given up anything?

Ebay Wish List

Leather jacket - I've become obsessed with finding the perfect leather jacket. I love this one, so simple & perfect to add to a skater dress to harden up your look. I think it might be the one..

White platforms - I've been after these for ages, but the seller never seems to have the white in stock. They are such a statement piece. Need them in my life..

Sunflower shorts - Aren't these pretty? They scream Summer & I know we're heading into Autumn / Winter, but they would be fab for next year.

Cut-out boots - I just need these. They are so beautiful.

Essie nail varnish - It amazes me how cheap you can get Essie polishes online. I'm in love with this shade. You can never go wrong with a baby pink.

Maxi dress - Again, how adorable? This seller I've found does this dress in every shade you can imagine, so if pink isn't your first choice, there's tons of other options & being less than £11, why not stock up on two or three?

Floral crown - I still haven't got one of these in my life. And yes I know, it takes a very brave & stylish person to pull one of these off outside of a festival, but can't I just have it to wear round my garden & pretend I'm a fairy?

Above the knuckle rings - I'm way behind on this trend, but 99p for 5? Can't complain at that.

Ebay Lipstick Review - Star Pink & Melon

Recently, I've found myself becoming addicted to Ebay. I go through phases of loving it & hating it & at the moment, I love it. So when I saw these bargain lipsticks for £1.95 each, I couldn't resist.

I picked them up from this UK seller & they do such a range of colours, I'm surprised I controlled myself with just the two shades but having free postage means you can always try the product & purchase another if you liked it without paying out for the delivery again.

Top - Star Pink 038 / Bottom - Melon 020

It's quite hard to actually see the shade when you select it on the seller's page, only because there are so many to choose from & are all quite similar, the seller fails to give a clear swatch on most of the shades. Melon was actually more orangey / coral than I thought it was going to be but the Star Pink is pretty much true to the image.

Melon 020

Like I said, this shade is more orangey than I thought it would be, but it's actually gorgeous on the lips. I don't actually own any orange lipsticks, I usually either buy pinks or reds, but this one is a lovely addition to my collection to add some variety. Overall its beautifully pigmented & easy to apply.

Star Pink 038

This shade is gorgeous. It's quite a dark pink so I'm leaning towards wearing it more in the Autumn / Winter months, but regardless I love the pigmentation.

Top - Star Pink 038 / Bottom - Melon 020

Both shades however don't have the greatest staying power, especially when it comes down to eating & drinking, but overall I'm super happy with this find & for £1.95 each, you can't really complain.

Have you found anything on Ebay recently?

Lust List

The dress - Everybody I know has been obsessing over elephants recently & who can really blame them? Especially with Topshop bringing out some gorgeous skirts & dresses in the adorable pattern. But deep down, even though I was lusting over them, I can't deny how much more appealing a giraffe is to me. That sounds weird right? But anyone that knows me will know, a giraffe has been my favourite animal since.. well ever. And look at this beautiful dress ASOS have provided for me. It's destiny I think.

The bag - How me is this bag? Pink, cute & well.. pink. I saw it featured in Georgia's latest post (seriously, if you don't follow her, you must. Mega style crush) & just knew it was going straight onto my lust list.

The shoes - Again, how adorable? I don't have any heels like these & think they look so elegant & perfect for Summer.

The iPhone case - I swear I buy my iPhone more accessories than I buy myself. But can you blame me? There are cases on Ebay for almost everything & everyone & seeing as most of my cases are pink, this galaxy one would make a nice addition to add some variety.

The necklace - Triangles. Who knew I'd become so obsessed with them. But I am. This one just screams BUY ME.

The skort - I think every blogger in the world has mentioned this item in either a love or hate way. I however, am no exception.. mine is in the post as we speak! I'm developing an obsession for white clothing at the moment, so obviously my choice was easy.

What have you been lusting over recently? : )

OOTD - Letter Head

Top, skirt, sunnies & boots - Primark / Tights - Tesco / Bowler hat - Ebay

Another walking ad for Primark.. haha.

I'm loving the crop top trend with the midi skirt. One of my favourite outfits & with the English weather failing to make up it's mind on whether to be sunny or freezing cold, it's a very versatile outfit. You can always layer up with jumpers & tights but wear wedges & sunnies for the hot summer days.

How are you all lovelies?

Currently watching Despicable Me - can't wait for number two to come out in a few weeks!

OOTD - In The Navy

Dress & bowler hat - Ebay / Tights - Tesco / Boots - Primark
This dress is one of my favourite pieces I've bought recently & it was perfect for a meal with the family at the weekend. Only downside, it's such an un-forgiving material. (hence why I look pregnant in the last photo..) One large lunch & my food baby is shown to the world.. Thankz dress.

Apart from that, I love it. I managed to pick it up on Ebay for around £8 last week in a mad spending spree. I decided to go for the navy, it's such a beautiful colour as apposed to the usual black I tend to end up buying because 'it goes with everything'.

How are you lovelies? I'm up early tomorrow & heading up north for my best friend's birthday - lots of curry, drinks & photos! What are you up to this weekend?

Lush List

Topshop Geek Hoodie - I know everyone in the world has the geek top from Topshop, but I actually prefer the hoodie & it's not much more expensive. It comes in a range of colours like the top, but I always seem to be drawn to grey. We have a very beautiful relationship. : )

Heart Sunglasses - These are for a bit of fun for the Summer to brighten up a boring look. I've never really been into sunglasses, but I thought these looked cool.

Leather Studded Bag - This is probably the worst picture of this bag, but if you click on the link, you'll see how gorgeous it is. It has studs lining the bottom & only £15!

JLS Eau De Toilette - Ahhh heaven in a bottle. I got JLS' other perfume for Christmas & now they've bought this one out. I haven't smelt it yet, but their other one was gorgeous, so I'm hoping this one is too.

Mesh Floral Jumper - I saw this on Lily's blog & knew it was going straight onto my wishlist. I think I might chose the dusty pink version, like Katy's, or maybe both?

New Look Black Wedges - These are currently in the sale but only size 9 are left! I can't believe it, they are perfect. Especially love the fur trimming.

What's currently on your wish list? : )

L For.. Litas?

Hey lovelies, hope you're all well. : )

I wanted to show you these shoes I picked up last month. (early Christmas present to myself!) We're all allowed one.. right? ; )

Ebay - £22.99

I've wanted these shoes for so long, I couldn't resist snapping them up when I saw them on Ebay. The heel is a lot higher than I originally thought (teaches me to read the measurements properly) but I love them regardless.

Did you treat yourself to anything before Christmas?

Spiked Necklace

Isn't it lovely to recieve something through the post? Especially when you have given up shopping for Lent & it feels like you've bought something when you actually haven't. (I ordered this necklace 2 days before Lent started)

YES, I'm very happy right now.

I bought it from Ebay (first seen on Gabs' blog) & I just had to have it. You can see the spikes are slightly bent at the bottom, but it's totally un-noticable when your wearing it.

Oh & the seller's note made me smile. : )

I know what you're thinking, you might have seen something like this before on my blog? You'd be right, it is kinda similar to this necklace I bought from Accessorize but.. this one is obviously spikes not feathers & gold not silver.. totally different right? ; D

You can never have too many 'collar' necklaces. FACT. : D
