BooHoo Wishlist

Aren't these just the cutest things? They also come in red, but I've fallen for these pink ones!

Who says it's only acceptable to wear sparkles at Christmas? I think you have to make an exception for this skirt. I'm addicted to everything sparkly.

This is such a statement piece, it just screams sophistication. I don't own many jumpsuits but am making it my mission to add more to my wardrobe this year.

Knee high boots have been on my previous wishlists & I still haven't got round to purchasing any! I really like this pair, just not sure I could cope with the heel for every day wear.

I know roll necks are massively in at the moment & I have to say I'm not a great lover of them. I've never been a fan of having something wrapped tightly around my neck, but this one is loose fitting & would be perfect for work.

I think this is more an Autumnal piece, but I couldn't resist adding it to this wishlist. It's perfect for that transitional period into the colder months with the slightly longer sleeves & tartan design.

My every day look at the moment is a simple shirt, jeans, jumper & a statement necklace. This one is just fabulous & such a good price!

Finally, a basic striped tee. You just can't go wrong with this. However, I am slightly worried people may confuse me with Where's Wally..

What's currently on your wishlist? : )

Dynamite Designs Jewellery

Hello lovelies,

I wanted to show you this gorgeous jewellery I picked up a few weeks back from Dynamite Designs Jewellery. Myself & my friend Cathy went to Newbury showground & this lovely jewellery stand caught our eye.

I couldn't resist picking up the set, which included the necklace, earrings & bracelet. I could just see myself sitting at dinner with a little black dress on & simply accessorizing with these gorgeous pieces to complete the look.

Please check out the lovely Di Hodge's website, she sells the most beautiful items : )

*Please note, I was not sponsored to write this post, these are all my own opinions & I bought the items, they weren't gifted to me*

Jewellery Haul x 2

Hello lovelies.

Sorry I haven't been blogging much, I just haven't really been inspired too recently. I've been working alot & sorting out other general life things, blogging has totally taken a back seat, which I hate.

Anyway, I thought I'd show you a couple of things I picked up in the Dorothy Perkins & Topshop sales. I seemed to pick up all silver in Dorothy P's & all gold in Topshop.. weird. : ) Oh & I definitely recommend going & having a look at both sales, they've got some gorgeous items in at the moment.

Dorothy Perkins

1. Double chain ring - £1 - I've been looking for a ring like this for ages. I'm really into rings at the moment, adding the chain just makes it different to any of the ones I already own so I had to snatch it up.

2. Collar necklace - £1 - This was originally £10 can you believe!? I wasn't going to spend that much on it as it's quite a unique piece, I've got to try to figure out what to wear it with. : /

3. Ball & cross bracelet - £1 - Another obsession of mine that is growing & growing.. (you'll notice this in the Topshop items I picked up too) is crosses. I've got a pair of earrings, a necklace & ring so I thought I better add to the collection & get a bracelet. Besides, who could resist this at just £1!?

4. Double cross ring - £2 - I think this ring is actually down to £1 now as well, but I still thought it was amazing for £2. Again.. crosses. I know.. I'm going to be swamped in them soon..

Topshop

1. Set of 4 gold rings - £3.75 - These were half price in the sale, two of them are plain gold, the other two are slightly patterned with vertical stripes. I've been wearing two on my index finger & two on my middle finger, they are so gorgeous.

 2. Silver & gold cross necklace - £2.50 - Ladies & gentleman, my new favourite necklace. Nothing else to say really. : )

3. Cross ear cuff - £1.50 - Yes I know, another cross. But look how cute it is! Looks amazing paired with this necklace.

So that's it lovelies. Have you been to either of these sales & picked up anything nice? If you have anymore cross jewellery items you recommend, send them to meee. #TotallyObsessed

Spiked Necklace

Isn't it lovely to recieve something through the post? Especially when you have given up shopping for Lent & it feels like you've bought something when you actually haven't. (I ordered this necklace 2 days before Lent started)

YES, I'm very happy right now.

I bought it from Ebay (first seen on Gabs' blog) & I just had to have it. You can see the spikes are slightly bent at the bottom, but it's totally un-noticable when your wearing it.

Oh & the seller's note made me smile. : )

I know what you're thinking, you might have seen something like this before on my blog? You'd be right, it is kinda similar to this necklace I bought from Accessorize but.. this one is obviously spikes not feathers & gold not silver.. totally different right? ; D

You can never have too many 'collar' necklaces. FACT. : D

Silver Feathers

I picked this necklace up about a month ago & totally forgot to show you guys. It was such a steal from Accessorize in their 70% sale, I think I paid around £3-4.

Sorry this is such a short post, I'm about to dash off to work!

Hope you're all having relaxing Sundays ladies. : )

Flower Pearls

I've been wanting to show you this gorgeous necklace I got for my birthday for ages. It's very special you see. Not only did one of my best girls take the time to make this, she also bought me some other gorgeous presents as well! I've already introduced her on here before many a time, she's guest posted for me as well, when I was on holiday last year & on my birthday last month. If you don't already know her, go check out Emily's blog, Design & Nonsense.

So here's my beautiful birthday present:

Isn't it amazing? : D

Thankyou so much Emz. : ) xxx

Small Haul - Topshop

When Topshop has it's January sale, I literally cry with joy.

You've probably noticed from previous hauls / posts etc I never really buy much from Topshop, except odd pieces of jewellery or sale items. I just find them so expensive & whenever I go into the shop, I never find something I like that much to justify the price. Maybe I'm just stingy..

Anyway, here's a few bits I picked up from the January sales.

I know what you're thinking about this necklace. "Cat your name begins with C, not G." You'd be right in saying that. Sadly, there were no C's, so I got a G. As corney & as it is, a G is very similar to a C & as most of you know, my boyfriend's name begins with a G. It seemed cute at the time. ; ) Hahaha.

Hope you're all having a good weekend so far. : )

Couple Of Things..

Hey girls, how are you all?

Went for our usual tea trip to town yesterday & I picked up these little things:

Originally £5 - Beales

Originally £5 - Beales

Originally £15! - Dorothy Perkins

I think my favourite item has to be the necklace from Dotty P's. £2 down from £15!? Can't go wrong with that. : )

Sorry it's such a short post today girls, I'm manically trying to get ready for Gord's coming down on Friday & sorting out work times. Hope you're all well. : )

A Few Bits Here & There..

Hello girls. How are you all? : )

How annoying is it when you buy something, go back into the same shop the next day & find the item you bought, at full price, has now moved to the sale section & is half price. Urgh.

ANYWAY, what do you think of these gorgeous items:

Gold bow ring - £4 (even though technically it's in the sale now for £2!)

Feather necklace - £2

Feather necklace - £2 (down from £10!)

These were all from Dorothy Perkins. I absolutely love the black & gold feather necklace, I've seen some people's hauls on youtube showing some feather earrings from Primark that would match this perfectly. Also the price! £2!

I've got a meal tomorrow night with my girls to celebrate Lorna's birthday, haven't decided what to wear yet, kinda depends on the weather to be honest. I've got a beautiful Summer dress waiting to be worn but it's just not warm enough. :(

Hope you've all had a good week, any plans for the weekend? : D

It's Arrived!

Hey girls, how are you all? I've just got back from a very successful shopping trip & lunch with my friend Gemma. It's so cloudy today, but luckily we didn't get rained on!

So anyway, about a week ago I posted saying I'd won Hayley's giveaway, well today it arrived in the post! I was stupidly excited & haven't taken it off all day. : D

My letter from Hayley. :)

My necklace
I love it so much, thankyou Hayley! : D

Sooo to say a massive thankyou to all my new & old followers, I'm doing my own giveaway which I'll post up tomorrow. So excited about it. : D

Right I'm off to the cinema with the girls, we're seeing Something Borrowed tonight. Anyone seen it? If you have, what did you think? : )

: )

Head scarf - Primark
Necklace - New Look
Body warmer - Charity shop (£5.99)

Afternoon girls! Please excuse these photos - still feeling slightly rough! I've just got back from town with two of my friends I haven't seen in a while, so was nice to have a catch up. Who likes my body warmer? I walked into a charity shop & saw it & fell in love. It's sooo snug, I feel like I'm wearing a full length coat. Anyway, some more stuff I bought today:

Charity shop - 99p
Primark - £1
Bracelet - £1.50
I love how sunny it is, got my sunnies out & it felt gorgeous to be driving in the sun with my music blasting. I've nearly recovered from Saturday now (thank goodness) & I've got work later on. Don't think it'll be very busy tonight, but I'm going to hopefully watch No Strings Attached, which looks good. Anybody seen it? : )

Floral Heaven

Hope you all had a good Valentines day! Mine was spent travelling on trains for 4 hours & then straight to work for a 6 hour shift, so not the most perfect day, but my weekend was pretty damn special.

On Saturday, my boyfriend took me out for a meal at this beautiful Indian restaurant & then to the cinema where we were going to see How Do You Know, the new film with Reece Witherspoon in, but it was sold out so we ended up going to see The Fighter. Not your typical Valentines day film, but it was actually really good. Here's my beautiful card & Toblerone, (YUM - one of my favourite chocolates).

Then on Sunday, I went to visit my best friend in Birmingham. Neither of us had ever been to Birmingham before, but it was a central meeting place, in between my boyfriend's uni & hers. We managed to find a huge shopping centre (wasn't that hard to be honest, it was right next to the train station!) & spent the day looking around the shops & eating Subways. I immediately fell in love with the huge Forever 21 shop. It had 3 levels! I had to buy something from there, so I settled for this gorgeous necklace:

Necklace: £2.80

I would have bought tons more, but I have limited funds until pay day on the 19th. I also got these from Primark:

 Earrings: £1

Makeup brush: £1.50

Earrings: £1.50 (3 pairs)

I'm in love with floral accessories & clothes at the moment. When I get paid, I'm so filling my wardrobe up with pretty floral items for the Summer.

How was everyone's weekend? Did anyone get any surprise cards? : D

Sopping Trip Part II: The Accessories

I did buy some clothes too, hopefully I'll post some up before I go away on Thursday for the weekend. But for now, have a look at these:

Rings:

New Look: £3

New Look: £3

Earrings:

Accessorize: £2.70 (sale price down from £7.00)

Primark: £1

Necklace:

New Look: £4

They aren't the best of photos, because I had a rush to take them before work, but I love owl accessories & my favourite earrings have to be the ones from Accessorize, the gold ones with the bird cages. I just love how unique they are & you can wear them for smart or casual wear. Also, going along with the owl theme, one of my best friends sent me this for Christmas:

She knows how much I adore owls & I'm absolutely in love with this necklace! I'm sorry I can't say where its from & how much because it was a gift, but thought I'd share it with you anyway. I've had so many compliments from wearing this & it goes with so many of my outfits that I wear day to day. Love love love it!
