Nude With A Twist

Hello girls! I'm currently rushing around like a mad woman, getting ready to go to the hairdressers in about an hour & packing ready to go off to Leicester tonight. So much to do! Anyway, I thought I'd do a quick blog on my current nails. Say goodbye to the pink & hello to the nude glitter.

So nude colours were huge this Winter, my nails basically stayed the same colour for ages (which is quite unusual, I usually change them once a week at least) but the nude colour just seemed to go with everything. This is the one I've got:

This colour is called Whimsy, it's designed by Barbara Daly & I got it from Tesco. I'm afraid I can't remember how much it was because I got it way back in Summer. But I love the shade. Obviously you can make it darker or lighter depending on how many layers you paint on. Now because I'm going to Leicester this weekend for my boyfriend's birthday, we're going out clubbing Saturday night, so I decided to jazz up my nails a bit more by adding some glitter:

I used my Rimmel London nail polish. I find it's quite good but the brushes are usually quite thick so you cant get too much detail with them. As you can see, I added the glitter to the tips of my nails. This just brightens them up a bit & makes them sparkle.

Anyway girls, I must dash off to the hairdressers now. I'm being brave & deciding to have a fringe. (I haven't had one since I was about 9, so hopefully I'll be brave & just do it!) I'm off tonight so I'm not sure when I'll be able to blog next, but hopefully not too long. Hope you all have a great weekend! : )

  1. These look SO good! I absolutely suck at painting my nails but yours look great! Have a great time and I hope your boyfriend has a good birthday! x

  2. Love these nails. You could always invest in some nail art brushes for painting on details (that's what I use) then it doesn't matter about the brush that comes with the bottle.

  3. Your nails are absolutely to die for! I have been craving nude polish on my nails as well! I feel like the color will transition to summer, too, which I am so happy about!
    I love your blog :)
