Models Own Nail Art Pens

As you all know, I love my nail polishes. I especially love looking at all your blog posts that feature nail art. It amazes me how creative you all are with different colours, patterns & themes. So, when my mum came home the other day with two Models Own nail art pens for me, I couldn't wait to try them.

I'm rubbish when it comes to keeping a steady hand when painting my nails. Yeah, I can manage to paint a solid colour, but when it comes to patterns or anything slightly difficult, I wobble & have to start again. This annoys me as I'm the most impatient person - so having to start again & wait for the different varnishes to dry is painful. However, I can't really complain about the actual nail art pens.

These both come with two different ways to apply the paint, a very fine nib at the top for precise designs like dots & shapes & a long thin brush that is perfect for lines & stripes. Besides the fact it took me ages to work out how to get the lid off to access where the fine nib was, it's very well designed.

I've only tried a very simple design so far, but what do you think? The base coat is Mystic Mauve by Models Own. Have you tried any nail art pens or have any you recommend?
