Not really a proper post today, but just one to say, I officially came out of the stone age on Saturday & bought an Iphone. : D I'm so pleased with it, even if it's battery life is already annoying me. I got the 4S in white & I've already purchased four cases for it. It's so spoilt..

Life At The Moment #31

Soooo, it was my birthday last Wednesday. A whole week ago today, which seems so weird.

 

I went to London with James for the day. It was so lovely, we managed to visit all the places on my list, including Covent Garden, Westfield shopping centre, Nandos & Hamleys. We had a curry to finish the evening off & collapsed in bed as soon as we got home about 9pm!

 

Thursday I stole Pete for the day & we did some baking. On the way back from town to my house, Alan's back wheel exploded & we had to call my Dad for roadside assistance. It took him an hour to reach us! The day got better though, I had a meal with the girls in the evening, in a gorgeous pub not far from my home town. Our table was right next to the fire place & we came out to a light sprinkling of snow. Felt more like Christmas than a birthday but still lovely.. : )

 

Friday was the day the snow came. Luckily, we didn't have any plans that day except a meal with my family in the evening so we didn't have to travel far.

 

Saturday & Sunday were both nights out with my friends, sadly I only just made it in on Saturday for a couple of hours & couldn't get there at all on Sunday. : (

 

So over all a mixed week full of ups & downs..

 

Now I'm back at work & still watching the snow fall.. whens it going to end!? Hope you're all well lovelies. : D

Barbie Heaven

 

 

 

 

 

How gorgeous are these shoes? I know.. the barbie in me came out to play when I saw these..

 

They were only £6 in the Primark sale, so I just had to have them.

 

They look quite a strange a colour in the first couple of photos, but they are bright pink as you can see in the last two. I wore them out for my birthday meal with the girls on Thursday & they seemed to go down pretty well. ; D

So I'm officially changing the name of the "Week In Photos" posts to "Life At The Moment". I'm terrible with posting on time as you guys know, so no point me doing week in photos when they are about 2 / 3 weeks apart!

Anyway, so how is my life at the moment? Answer.. busy!

It was James' birthday last week (post here of my outfit) & we celebrated in style at Smith & Western. I'm so excited as mine is now only a couple of days away! I love birthdays so much & I've got tons planned. I seem to always arrange things over a couple of days rather than just on my birthday! I've heard the UK is getting snow for the next three weeks though, so really hoping I can still get up & about. The plan is to go to London on the 16th, so hopefully the snow will stay away for a while..

I've wanted these shoes for so long, I couldn't resist snapping them up when I saw them on Ebay. The heel is a lot higher than I originally thought (teaches me to read the measurements properly) but I love them regardless.

Sorry the picture on the left is so dark, but this is what I wore to James' birthday meal on New Years Day. We went to Smith & Western (seriously the most embarrassing place for birthdays! They ring bells & scream & shout when they bring your pudding & sing you happy birthday!) We had such a nice evening with balloons, presents & cake.

The COD performance of our panto was held on Thursday (a piss-take of Snow White performed by the crew, COD stands for crew on display) which was so funny. Haven't laughed so much in ages. Somehow I think I won't be able to get out of taking part next year..

Hello lovelies! Long time no blog!

 

Thought I'd show you a few snaps from this Christmas & New Year. : ) How did you all celebrate?

 

I've had 5 days off in the past month, work has totally taken over recently. I'm looking forward to my birthday in the middle of January for some well earned time off. ; ) Panto is still going but only 8 more performances to go now & then it's over for another year.
