Oh wow, that's a lot of Primark in one place.. I apologise.

 

I adore maxi skirts in the Spring / Summer. Perfect for those evening BBQ's or drinks in the garden. This blue one is such a pretty colour, goes with just about everything.

 

My wedges though, oh god. I bought them last Summer & despite being one of the prettiest pairs I own, they kill my feet. I can hardly walk in them! & my headband, I've probably had that a good few years now, but I seem to always be able to find an occasion to whip it out for!

 

How are you all lovelies? Bank holiday weekend was so gorgeous with the sunshine & now we're back to rain & coldness. Urgh. Hope you're all well.

Recent Nail Art #5

Copper - 17 & Sparkle Touch - Miss Sporty

These are actually quite Christmassy nails. I didn't mean for them to be but I just added the glitter as a top coat as the gold looked so plain by itself. Mmm, weird as we're just getting some sunshine in the UK now!

I absolutely adore this shade, it's one of my favourites from Barry M. But.. I couldn't resist adding to it..

I was totally inspired by bloggers recently to try this flower print design. I love how simple & cute they are & surprisingly easy to do! Plus, it makes the Turquoise even prettier.



Ultra Gold - OMG London Cosmetics & Confetti - L'Oreal

These I named the bumblebee nails. I'm addicted to Confetti by L'Oreal & I use it as a top coat at least once a month. I find yellow nail varnish to be the one colour I don't particularly like on my nails but adding this top coat really made them unique (& less yellow!)

Life At The Moment #40

Today, I'm in the worst mood ever.

 

Not only do I have to say goodbye to my first car which I've had since I was 17, I've got problems with my pay check, feel ill & my head feels like it's about to explode.

 

But, this past week has been a good one. : D

 

If you saw my previous post, you'll know myself & the boy went to London Zoo last Thursday. It was so much fun & we got to see the giraffes which was the highlight of the day for me.

 

I also managed to squeeze in a shopping day with Gemma, a meal with Dan & a dog walk with Honey.

 

Just need to breathe through today & all will be good. Typical Monday eh? : )

London Zoo!

 

 

 

So yesterday, myself & the boy went to London Zoo.

 

We took so many photos, these are some of my favourites - obviously the giraffes were the highlight of my day! Sadly, the only animal we didn't get to see which I was excited about was the tigers. We did however get to see the seahorses & the new silver-backed gorilla who just sat there chilling & watching everyone snapping away at him, so adorable.

A typical Summer outfit post!

I had to make the most of the sunshine even though my hair looks a complete mess & I forgot to suck in my pot belly in all the photos..

 

I bought this dress last Summer - I absolutely adore the polka dot print (yes my nails do match, complete coincidence I have to say!) but polka dots are my obsession at the moment.

 

I'm so excited about this week, myself & James are going to London Zoo on Thursday, fingers crossed it doesn't rain! I can't wait to see all the animals, especially the giraffes!

Life At The Moment #39

Ok, so first things first. My boy is officially back in the UK! Yay! He's actually been back for almost a week now & we've mostly spent the time catching up, eating out & chilling in the garden as the weather has been so lovely. He's tanned, has a lion bite on his arm, scratches on his leg & is still scared of spiders but I'm so pleased he's back! : D

 

The weather has actually been so beautiful these past few days, I'm hating the fact I have to go to work in a big glass oven & watch people outside! BUT, planning a holiday very soon with the girls & the boy. Too excited.

Recent Nail Art #4

NYC - Mint Macaroon & L'Oreal - Confetti

Confetti is one of my favourite topcoats at the moment. It's so beautiful & goes on top of any base colour & makes it look stunning. I get so many compliments & questions about it, it really is such a unique polish to have. 



Barry M - Peach Melba & Models Own Nail Art Pen - White

Ah, yet again more polka dots & seeing as it's Spring, pastel polka dots! This shade by Barry M was massive last year & I think it'll stay a statement polish for this year too. Adding the polka dots just makes it more feminine & cute.



Accessorize (no name!) & Models Own - Ibiza Mix

This was such a random combination, I wasn't sure whether to include it in this post as I only kept it on for a couple of days! Ibiza Mix is such a pain to get off, despite being so pretty! What colour do you use as a base coat to style multi-coloured glitters?

And finally my current nails. Last Christmas, my boyfriend bought me a voucher for a classic manicure at a local beauty salon. I'd been saving it up for Spring so I went in last Thursday & got my hands & fingers totally pampered for 45 minutes. I can't rave about this shade enough, it's beautiful. I obviously have blues in my nail polish collection, but none like this. It's an absolutely gorgeous pastel blue & so far I've only had a slight chip on one index finger. I've been trying to preserve it as much as I can so the boy can see it now he's back from Africa!
