A Very Pink BooHoo Wishlist

Amelia Ribbed Choker V-Neck Jumper
I'm obsessed with jumpers! I have so so so many of them but I just can't stop buying them! This one has to be one of my favourites on BooHoo at the moment. I picked up the Sasha Oversized Jumper a few weeks ago & I've been wearing it most days, their jumpers are just the best.

Ilia Soft Suedette A-Line Mini Skirt
I'm currently on the hunt for a suede skirt & this one looks just perfect. I love wearing this type of skirt with my knee high boots & a cute shirt tucked in.

Ava Velvet Floral Embroidered Cross Body Bag
Little bags & embroidery have been so popular this year & I'm loving how cute this one is. I'm guilty for taking way to much stuff with me where ever I go, so I'm thinking this would actually make me consider what I actually need on a day to day basis!

Brooke Boutique Faux Fur Hood Parka
Oh my days, now snug does this coat look? That fur hood sold it to me.

Penny Plunge Bodysuit
I absolutely love body suits. I'm a massive fan of tucking things into my jeans / skirts, so these just work so well for me. I don't actually own a pink one, so this would be a nice addition to my wardrobe.

Boutique Caia Lazer Cut Suedette Culottes
& I have to confess, I actually own these already. How beautiful are they though?! You can't really see from the image I've included on this wish list, but if you click on the link & see the detail at the bottom of the legs, I think you'll fall in love even more! These are my first pair of culottes & I've wanted some for the longest time. They are the softest, comfiest pair of bottoms I own & I can't wait for summer to wear them!

What Spring trends have you been loving this year? : )

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss - Picnic In The Park & Let's Travel The World

Hello lovelies,

Back in January I recieved my first lipgloss for my birthday from the Tanya Burr beauty range, called Berry Picking (I reviewed it here if you'd like a read!) & since then, I've picked up two additonal shades called Let's Travel The World, which is a bright red & Picnic In The Park, which is a barbie pink.

So let's start with Let's Travel The World.

Could I be more in love with red? No, no I couldn't. I mentioned in my previous review post that I fell in love with lip glosses again because of Berry Picking & I really think I've found another perfect match. I do adore wearing red on my lips, I think it can complete an outfit & this one is perfect to use over the top of a lipstick or just on its own.

I'm a massive sucker for a pink lip & this one sadly I wasn't so impressed with. I do find it isn't as pigmented as the other two lip glosses, so this one I tend to use as a top coat over a pink lipstick. On it's own, it does fade after an hour or so & also highlights all the cracks in my lips which I can't imagine anyone wants to see!

Overall, Tanya's range of lip glosses I've found to be absolutely amazing value for money & I'm already a massive fan of her nail polishes so I'd definitely recommend trying her range if you haven't already. I'm eyeing up some of the other products to try now too!

Have you tried any of Tanya Burr's beauty range? What were your thoughts? : )

Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm - Coquette

Hello lovelies,

I was lucky enough to receive some beauty bits for Christmas, one being this gorgeous lip balm from Revlon. I'm a massive fan of the brand, so was extremely excited to try it.

I received the shade Coquette, which is a stunning pale pink. I do tend to wear pink all year round, but I think it would be perfect for Spring time.

It applied really smoothly onto my lips & felt very light-weight. One of the main features of this balm is the fact it has shea, mango & coconut butter in it's formula, making it very moisturizing on the lips. I found it also had a shimmer to it once applied, which I'm not a massive fan of, but I much prefer that to a matte lipstick.

The best thing about this product is it's retractable & you won't need to use a sharpener once the product has been used. I absolutely despise products where I have to sharpen them. Call me lazy, but it's so much easier when you can access the lip balm by twisting the base.

The lip balm doesn't have the greatest staying power & I did have to re-apply it every 2 hours or so to keep the pink from fading on my lips, however, I was drinking & talking all day, so that's to be expected!

I'll definitely be looking in drugstores to try out a few more shades as the darker pinks are calling my name!

Have you tried the Revlon Lip Balms? What did you think? : )

Life Lately #98

Hey lovelies,

Did anyone else get majorly excited about Nutella Day? I absolutely love Nutella & Pinterest really didn't help my cravings as it sent through an email full of delicious recipes. Fortunately, I remembered I had a Mug Cake recipe book sitting on my book shelf at home, so texted mum to pick up the ingredients as she was luckily going to Tesco that day & we made the most delicious mug cake after work. Even Honey was tempted to try some..

Oh goodness, then came pancake day. Do I ever do an update post without food? No is definitely the answer. Mum loves lemon & sugar, while I'm a Nutella, strawberry & banana girl. What is your favourite thing to have on pancakes?

You'll see these amazing boots featured in my favourites this month for sure, aren't they just perfect? They were in the Primark sale for £10. I just couldn't believe my luck!

I've had this weekend off work (well, starting Friday as I was ill on Thursday) I decided to cheer myself up by making some cakes. These were the perfect chocolate delight to have. They were so nice as a cheeky treat throughout the day!

James came home this week for half term, so we got to celebrate Valentines together. He ran me the pinkest of baths, followed by ordering a Chinese takeaway & then we set up my pink chocolate fondue machine. It was heaven.

& finally, let me introduce you to the new love of my life, my camera. It's the Sony HX60 Cyber shot. I've been thinking about getting a new camera for a while now, as I'm loving doing a bit of vlogging & I've always loved taking photos.

How was your Valentines Day lovelies? Have you treated yourself to anything nice recently?

Pink Flamingo Reusable Bubble Bar

Hello lovelies,

I'm obsessed with Lush (as I'm sure many of you already know from Instagram, Twitter & a recent blog post!) so I wanted to show you the Flamingo Bubble Bar I picked up a few weeks ago in my local store.

I'd seen it on a few blogs & knew I just had to find it. Isn't he just the cutest? (I was quite tempted to name him but thought I'd get too attached & wouldn't use him if I did..!)

"Birds of a feather bathe together! Slip into something more fruity with this cocktail-inspired reusable bubble bar, filled with fragrant rosewood and sexy ylang ylang. To set the mood for all kinds of nude, softening macadamia nut oil and refreshing bergamot leave you feeling in the pink. Let the bubbly flow!"

This product retails for £5.95, so it is one of the more expensive bubble bars, but so far I've managed to have three baths out of it with a small amount remaining for a fourth.

The smell it produces is simply gorgeous! I absolutely love it!

The only thing I will say about this product is that I'm not too keen on the colour it turns the water (sometimes!). When I first tried it, it turned my water a yellowy brown tone, but the second time, my bath water went very pink! You'd think the flamingo would create a pink bath, after all, just look at how pink it is! But it actually has a yellow undertone & that is sadly what comes through on most occasions.

Apart from that, it does create a large number of bubbles which is always a must for any bubble bar!

I definitely think the Flamingo Bubble Bar was worth the purchase but now I've tried it, I don't think I'll be rushing out for another one. However, if they created a shower gel in this fragrance, I would definitely buy that!

Have you tried the Flamingo Bubble Bar or any of Lush's new products?

I made a trip to London with my friend Lorna in September & posted about our adventure to Lush here if you wanted to have a read! We picked up some lovely new products. Keep an eye out for the reviews which will be coming soon! : )

Lacoste - A Touch Of Pink

Hello lovelies!

Struggling to find that perfect scent for Valentines Day? I think I've found it!

Today I wanted to post about a gorgeous eau de toilette I got for Christmas & it's called Lacoste; A Touch Of Pink.

I actually got this in a gift set called Girls Night In, which came with slippers, toe separators, nail file, makeup bag, headband, eau de toilette, shower gel & body lotion. I can't thank James enough for this, everything is so pink.. I love it!

A Touch Of Pink is the perfect girly eau de toilette, perfect for any occasion, especially those romantic days out. It's quite a fruity-floral scent & I love wearing it in the day but it would also be lovely for garden parties in the Summer time. I think of it more as a Spring / Summer scent, but I can't keep it hidden away till then!

What scent are you wearing this Valentines Day?

I've also written a Valentines nail art post which you can check out here if you like, for more inspiration for the big day! : )

Obsessed..? Maybe..

Hello lovelies,

I don't know about you, but I take my phone everywhere. I'm not necessarily proud of that fact, but it's true. Of course, it wouldn't be "my phone" if it wasn't pink or slightly unusual. I wanted to show you some of the cases I've managed to acquire while having my iphone 4s. (I'm missing about two cases from this collection.. but this is the majority!)

I bought them all on Ebay, stretching from £79p - £4.99. Most of them are from China, you can basically get any design you want on eBay these days!

As you can see, the majority are pink, just my little blue whale at the bottom there is the odd one out. He is actually fabulous. He comes with different shaped eyes so you can choose his expression & even a tail designed for your headphones to wrap around. The cases at the top (the sparkly bling-ed up ones) were my first obsession. I still love them, but I find having a gel case so much easier than a plastic case.

My favourite one has to be the rabbit, just look at those cheeks! It looks very chunky to hold, but it actually fits to your hand so well. Oh & the pug one.. yes I agree it's ugly.. there was just something cute about it that caught my eye.. : ' )

Sorry if this post isn't really your cup of tea, but I love looking at people's phone cases. Maybe I'm just weird..

Have you got a favourite case for your phone?
