Cocoa Butter Body Butter Review

Hello girls. How are you all?

Quick note to start & say Alan (my car) passed his M.O.T, so I can now drive him legally again.  : ) YAY.

Right, you might remember me doing a post a while back where I showed you the Body Butter I got from Tesco. Sorry the review is slightly late, but I totally forgot I was going to do one! : D

  Here is the product:

Now, I've only been using this on my face & some rough areas on my body where the skin is quite dry, I use a moisturiser on the rest of my body as it's a lot easier to apply than body butter, being lighter & easier to spread. Try not to use too much, (mainly because you only need a small amount) just enough to cover the area you've chosen to apply it to.

I usually apply it after I've come out the shower or/and at night after I've taken off my makeup so it can soak in over night. (You can apply it in the morning, I just find it easier do to it at night)

Result: After using it for a few days, my skin does feel alot softer & smoother. I've had a few compliments from the smell as well which is always good! : ) I love the smell of cocoa butter, if you've never smelt it before, TRY IT! Seriously, it's gorgeous.

The product costs around £5. (I did get it half price in Tescos the other week, no idea how long the offer is on for though)

Have you tried this product? Or tried one similar you'd recommend? : )

I'm seeing Pirates Of The Caribbean tonight with my friends, it looks really good & I do enjoy the films, but I get so confused whats going on.. I know that sounds silly but when I think back to number 2 & 3 I can't even remember which bits are in which film.. hahaha. I think they're all going to be sick of me whispering "What's going on?!" every 5 minutes! LOL. : )

Oh & one to follow: Nichole. I've just found her blog & it's amazing. She's having a giveaway too, so check it out on her blog! & my favourite post of hers, her penguin nail tutorial is just awesome, definately going to try that at some point. : ) xx

  1. Thank you so much for mentioning my blog! It's so lovely of you! I'm glad you love my penguin nails too! :D I need to do more nail tutorial thingys but I don't know what else to do :P

Thank you again Cat, you're a star! :D

  2. I have that exact same cocoa butter and I love it.
haha that's hilarious about pirates of the caribbean, the third one was confusing! It went right over my head.

  3. Sounds like a pretty good product. I still have a Neals yard moisturiser I use every now and then, though I do love the smell of cocoa butter! x

  4. The body butter sounds so good!
I really want to see Pirates of the Caribbean, tell us how it is? Hope you enjoy it! I am so upset that Orlando Bloom isn't in it anymore, he's so beautiful!

  5. Oh I am so with you on the Pirates movies! I remember basically every detail of the first, but the second two just get all mashed together in my mind. And thanks for the review, I've actually been looking to get some more cocoa butter and was looking at this brand specifically! =]

    xx Melina
    .but i like it.

  6. I love cocoa butter, one of my favourite products. I haven't tried this one though, but sounds like a good deal especially if it's still half price xx
