A Lobster In A Thunder Storm..

I was going to start this post off by saying how gorgeous & beautiful the weather has been these past few days.. but it is now pouring, yes POURING with rain. I can hear some thunder coming as well.. I'm not a massive fan of it, I prefer to be snuggled up in my house when it all happens!

It was my best friend's birthday yesterday but we basically celebrated all weekend. It was her 22nd but she didn't really celebrate her 21st, so we made this one extra special. She hired a barn on Saturday & we spent all of yesterday chilling at the beach & came home to a nice glass of champagne before speeding out again to the pub for a quiz & cocktails. I got sooo sun burnt at the beach, I actually look ridiculous. I stood naked in the mirror & I look like I'm wearing a white bikini because of the tan lines! Urgh, not good.

Anyway, here are some pictures of my outfit I wore Sunday:

I'm off to Notting Hill tomorrow with my boyfriend (mainly for a nice day out together & to explore!) I only live about an hour by train away from London, but rarely find the time to go up so I hope it's nice weather again tomorrow for our adventure. : )

Mrs Whippy

Hey girls! How are you all?

I just wanted to show you this gorgeous bath bomb I got last week from Lush. It's called Mrs Whippy.

I was drawn to it because of the gorgeous colour & shape of the bomb, I love how it resembles the top of an ice cream. : )

This is what happened when I dropped it in the bath. It started to fizz & a lot of white foam came out of it. While it was fizzing around, it actually flipped over. You can see in the above right picture the bottom is a very gorgeous shade of pink that fizzed madly as soon as it got in the water.

It then split into two sections, the bottom was totally pink & the top layer was white. The pink was alot bubblier & continued to fizz around the bath while the white kind of stayed & bubbled on the spot.

This was the bath when the bomb had nearly completely dissolved. It turned the water a gorgeous pink / white colour. I actually love this bomb, it's the first time I've tried it but it left my skin feeling really soft & smooth.

Let's Fly Away, On These Golden Wings

Hey girls! I just want to show you this gorgeous ring I bought from Mozzypop the other day. Her shop and blog are both beautiful, so pop by and have a look. : )

 So gorgeous. I really love owls so I was super excited when I found this in her shop!

Apart from work & seeing Pete & Leia I haven't really done much this past week, but I've been really busy at the same time! My boyfriend is home from uni permanently on Friday! I'm so excited. He got his results from his first year today (& I don't really understand the actual marks, I just know it's very good!) He got all 1st's & one 2:1. So yeah, I'm a very proud girlfriend at the moment. : D

Benefit Lip And Cheek Tint And Complexion Enhancer

This month Glamour magazine are giving away these three products: Bene and Posie Tint. These are both lip and cheek stains and High Beam which is a complexion enhancer.

I mentioned in my video about the High Beam appearing quite glittery on the skin. I like the effect it creates but I'd personally save it for evening looks.

Together, all the products add up to £28, so getting all three for £6 is a total bargain. I've only tried the Bene Tint so far, I find it's gorgeous on my lips & creates a beautiful sutle glow on my cheeks.

Update!

Hello girls, how are you all?

My order finally arrived from H and M yesterday, so I got a new playsuit (I'll show you in an outfit post soon) 2 rings and a purple eyeshadow set. All for £12.12! (That includes delivery!) Yay.

So I haven't really got much to post about today. Just been working over the past few days and enjoying the Domino's offer - buy one get one free all week!

I also saw The Hangover 2 last week - so funny but exactly the same as the first one. Still good though. And my boyfriend came back from uni for the day on Friday for a visit, was so nice to see him and we spent the day sitting in the sunshine in the park, just having a huge catch up. I burnt my legs - they were bright red and are only just turning brown! Haha. We saw X men Friday night as well and I haven't seen any of the others except Wolverine but I loved it! Was soooo good. : )

Love this picture, it was taken at my friend's birthday meal a few weeks ago. My dress is from a shop that doesn't have a name (how silly is that!?) and my ring is from New Look. My fringe looks awful here, really need a haircut, hopefully I'll get round to it sometime this week. : )

These are my favourite shorts at the moment, I love floral patterns & these are just gorgeous. I think they cost £10 when I bought them a few months back from Primark.

I've also just heard that Jessie J is doing a tour in November, I'm SO excited. Just downloaded her album & it's on repeat so I'm definitely getting tickets when they go on sale next week.

So yeahhhh, seeing Hangover 2 tomorrow, I don't know if it's going to be similar to the first one, but I don't really mind if it is, the first one was amazing anyway. Anyone seen / recommend it?
