Revlon Kissable Balm Stain

Hey guys!

I finally managed to get my hands on the Revlon Kissable Balm Stain. After going into town 3 times looking for it, I finally found the colour I wanted in Superdrug. Yes, again I have head over heels with a lip product.

This product is a mix between a moisturising balm & a lipstick. This is exactly what I need in my collection, my lips become so dry with lipsticks, but I hate applying a clear moisturising balm.

If you regularly read my blog, you'll know I am a huge fan of pink lip products, so I picked up the shade Cherish, 015.

I adore the packaging - it's so simple yet effective.

The actual product is so easy to use as well. You can use the nib to define the outline of your lips & then use the side to fill them in.

I'm always scared when buying a pink lip product, some of them apply clear or just glossy to your lips without applying any colour. This balm stain however, comes out a gorgeous barbie pink, perfect for Summer days. I will say however, it is slightly sparkly when you first apply it & weirdly enough, smells quite minty! Not what I was expecting!

Swatched on my lips

Have you tried any of these new balm stains?

  1. ohhh yes, I've heard it contains peppermint, which is probably why its minty! I'm quite excited to try this product, but I'm not such a big fan of sparkles :S Does the colour last a while?

  3. This looks like an amazing product, will definitely try it out when I find it. The color is also really cute, and will be perfect for me, i hope. Does it go off easily, or could the color stay on for like a day, or half a day? :) x

    1. Hey hun, yeah the colour is actually really good, it stains your lips so does last longer than most lip products. I wore it on a lunch date with the girls last week & although most of the colour stayed on, I did have to re-apply it to get the full colour after eating. :) x

  4. I picked up the shade Honey but I can't decide if I like it or not! Although the smell isn't horrible I think I'd prefer it to be unscented xx
