OOTD - Green Eyes

Top - New Look / Vest top - Primark / Leggins - Primark / Ring - The Accessorise Stand / Necklace - Gift / Nails - Barry M

Today was a very green day. : )

The top photo makes me laugh, sadly it was the best one out of an awful bunch of body shots & looked even funnier when mirrored together.. so it's up for you all to giggle at.. : ' )

I picked up this top in The New Look sale for £4. I love how casual & easy to wear it is. Perfect for Summer & wearing with leggins or shorts.

Oh & my hair was a bit of a spur of the moment thing.. I was just playing around & this is what I came up with. It was so easy & quick to do, would anyone like a hair tutorial on how to do it?

Week In Photos #12

(awful photo editing, sorrrrrry!)
Harry the peacock / Fish & chips / Shorts from Tesco / Breakfast / Garlic bread / Buuurger / Lucky girl : ) / Harv using the chair as camouflage / Moo Moo's on the beach / OOTD (post coming soon) / Buuurger #2 / FOTD / Boop & her juice / Summer / Hello white legs / So beautiful at night / Dinner made by Pete / NOTW / Gorgeous new shoes / Yummiest cake / Gifts from Sheffield.

Just realised how often I take pictures of my food.. is that weird?!

So, it's safe to say Summer officially arrived in the UK this week. I managed to get my legs out in the park with the girls (& not get burnt) & again yesterday on the beach (& got totally burnt). Now they are the colour of lobsters. Yes, very very sore.

How cute are my nails? : D I stole this idea from Kim after seeing this post last week, so gorgeous & easy to do!

Ah & I also went to see Magic Mike yesterday. Oh my gosh, Channing Tatum is just amazing. If you haven't already, go & see this film.

Hope you all have fab weekends. : )

OOTD - Sports Babe

Top - Primark Mens (DIY me) / Shorts - Primark / Leggins - Tesco / Ring - Accessorize / Necklace - Topshop / Earrings - Miss Selfridge / Nails - Barry M

I'd actually forgotten I took pictures of this outfit, probably from about 2 weeks ago when I went to Cathy's for the day & had my Ice Age nails. : )

I bought this top for £3 in the men's section of Primark, didn't like the sleeves, so shortened them & made it into a vest top. I'm thinking about cutting out more of the side, to give it bigger arm holes if you know what I mean? Think that would look lovely with a small bandeau underneath.

Not much to say about my hair, it's messy, easy & quick to do! Sorted. : D

Hope you're all well lovelies. <3

Revlon Kissable Balm Stain

Hey guys!

I finally managed to get my hands on the Revlon Kissable Balm Stain. After going into town 3 times looking for it, I finally found the colour I wanted in Superdrug. Yes, again I have head over heels with a lip product.

This product is a mix between a moisturising balm & a lipstick. This is exactly what I need in my collection, my lips become so dry with lipsticks, but I hate applying a clear moisturising balm.

If you regularly read my blog, you'll know I am a huge fan of pink lip products, so I picked up the shade Cherish, 015.

I adore the packaging - it's so simple yet effective.

The actual product is so easy to use as well. You can use the nib to define the outline of your lips & then use the side to fill them in.

I'm always scared when buying a pink lip product, some of them apply clear or just glossy to your lips without applying any colour. This balm stain however, comes out a gorgeous barbie pink, perfect for Summer days. I will say however, it is slightly sparkly when you first apply it & weirdly enough, smells quite minty! Not what I was expecting!

Swatched on my lips

Have you tried any of these new balm stains?

Week In Photos #11

Oooops / NOTW / Lunch with the girls / Baking / Lunch / Yes, I know everyone is reading this, but I had to see what all the fuss was about.. / My bagel / Tea & bagels with the girls / Result of baking #1 / More rain.. / Soggy Honeypot / Hair #1 / Yum / :D / Result of baking #2 / Hair #2 / Bought the new balm stain (post here) / Gorgeous view.

Hey dolls. : )

As you can see, I finally caved & bought Fifty Shades Of Grey. I just had to see what all the fuss was about. One of my friend's said it was so good, she read it in a day, however another said she got half way through & found it boring. So we'll see how it goes. Makes me laugh when I noticed Ann Summers are selling the novels! Lol. : D

Had a baking day with Pete on Thursday; we made brownies & mint chocolate cookie sandwiches. I picked up a baking book in the week & thought I could instantly turn into Deliah Smith. Sadly not, Pete did most of it while I took step by step pictures..

Also, managed to catch up with my girls over lunch a couple of times during the week. And as you can see, wasn't just lunch we went to town for.. I managed to pick up a top in the sale at Topshop, a new balm stain by Revlon & Lucky Lilac by No7. Argh.. really need to save some money for more.. important stuff!

It also hasn't stopped raining here in the UK & we've had the occasional thunder storm over the past week as well, so I've hardly worn my hair down. (It goes so frizzy in the wet weather). So I decided to try out a few twists on the messy topknot look. Quite impressed with the plait up the back. : )

Hope you're all well lovelies. : )

NOTW #11

Those of you who follow me on Twitter, would have seen me post about these nails last Sunday, or in my outfit post on Monday.

They are dedicated to Ice Age 4: Continental Drift. We started showing it at work over the weekend & after picking up these two new nails polishes from Barry M, (not intentially to do this design) I thought they would be perfect. Also, after all this drepressing rain & wind we've been having in the UK recently, I get bored of all the pastel spring colours & wanted something a bit more.. different. : )

The glitter nail varnish is one of Barry M's new polishes. You can't really see it in these photos but it's a mixture of alot of different coloured glitter, not just a plain silver. So pretty when it catches the light.

Barry M also have an offer in Superdrug at the moment, buy £2 for £5 (save a pound) Awesome offer.

What do you think of this design? : )

OOTD - Continental Drift

Dress - Unknown (so old I can't remember!) / Leggings - Primark / Bracelets - Pandora & gifts / Necklace - Gift from H. Samuel / Nails - Barry M
This outfit to me is pure beach. I don't really know if that sentence even makes sense, but that's what I thought when I put it on. You know those pieces of clothing that hide away in your wardrobe that you don't seem to come across for years at a time? Well, your looking at one of those. I used to wear this dress all the time, but sadly it got forgotten about. It's actually the perfect item to throw over a bikini on the beach. Obviously, you couldn't get away with it without leggins, but nobody seems to care when your on holiday right? ; D

Ahh & see my nails up there? They were painted especially for work. (The release of Ice Age 4 - yes I do like to promote our films!) Next post will be dedicated to them. : D

Hope you're all well dolls. : )

Another week has flown past. Can't believe we are half way through the year already, it's insane. O.o

Haven't really done much this week except eaten the best burger, drunk the best frappuccino & chatted with the best people. : )

What are your plans for the weekend?

NOTW #10

I got this polish free in Marie Claire magazine this month. It's a gorgeous dusty pink shade worth £9 (but you obviously get it for £3.70 - being the price of the magazine) I'm in love with it, seriously! It's so long lasting as well. I used three coats to achieve this shade, but after 6 days, I've only had one little chip out of my index finger.

Hope you're all well ladies, sorry this is such a short post, but I'm dashing around to get ready for work. Talk to you all soon! : )
