Happy Halloween!

Hey guys!

Hope you all had amazing weekends. Did you go out celebrating Halloween?

I have no idea what I'm supposed to be in this photo, I just painted my face white & added alot of eye liner, black lipstick & a cobweb tattoo & that was it.. Sexy eh? ; D You might be able to see as well, Cathy (second in from the right) has got one contact lense in. It was seriously weird talking to her all night with one normal eye. And Campbell didn't have his cloak on here, but he was a vampire. (We also gave him some eyeliner & a bit of mascara to help with the look) ; D

After work tonight, we're all going to the pub quiz in our local town, I can't decide whether to dress up again or not? I've got to go straight from work to the pub, so I don't know if I can be bothered to take all the face paints & stuff with me. -sigh- What do you all think? : )

It's only a couple of days till my boy is home! Next weekend will be awesome, we're going to a fireworks display on the Saturday & then maybe for a couple of drinks afterwards. So looking forward to seeing him.

Oh & I'm posting alot more on Twitter now I know how to use it! Come visit me there? : )

No7 Gentle Foaming Cleanser Review

Afternoon girls. : )

Name: No7 Gentle Foaming Cleanser
Price: £8
Purchased from: Boots
Time tested: A week

I actually picked up this product for £3, using the Boots No7 voucher which I'm sure you've all been given at some point or another, which gives you £5 off any No7 product. However, I don't think £8 for this product is extortionate, but I only seem to purchase it when I have the voucher. (They come out quite often so you can usually stock up!)

I started using this product about a week ago. I take my make-up off before I go to bed & I use this in the morning when I wake up to freshen up my face & clear any last traces of make-up from the night before.

Love: The pump dispenser. It's an amazing feature allowing you to get exactly the right amount of the product to use on your face. If you're like me & sometimes waste product by pouring / using too much, this is definitely a life saver.

Mmmm: Only thing I'm not so keen on is how much I've used in a week. I've got just over half the bottle left, which means you'd be stocking up on it quite regularly. However, using the voucher & paying £3 for the product at a time, is just too good not to take advantage of.

So, overall I do really like the product. I felt my skin become alot softer after using it for 2 / 3 days & I find foundation alot easier to apply to softer skin.

Overall Rating: 7 / 10

Update #3

Hi girls, I'm so sorry I've been MIA this past week. Everything has been so hectic, with work, family stuff & just life in general. Anyway, I'm back now! How are you all?

Let's start with a little update shall we? : )

Work: Still the same. I'm doing about 5 / 6 days a week at the moment, mixture of stewarding & being on the box office. We had a show called Numberjacks in this week, mainly aimed at young kids, it almost felt panto-ish with them all running around!

Friends: Got to catch up with Lorna this week (hey babe! I know you'll probably read this!) for a Starbucks & a chatter. Oh & a Domino's night with some special ones last night. We ordered online for the first time, lol. Which pizza would you chose from the pizza menu? : D

Boyfriend: Still chatting every day & I get to see him in a week & 2 days. YES. I count.

Halloween: Can't believe how quick this has come around to be honest. A few weeks ago I was discussing what to do with Boop & we just said 'ahh it's ages away, we'll think about it nearer the time..' & now it's nearly here. Cathy's coming back from uni to visit this weekend which I'm so excited about, so we'll hopefully do a pub / club night on Sat. : )

Family: It was my mum's birthday on Saturday & even though we didn't really do much it was a really good weekend. She loved all her presents & we had a good laugh.

Other stuff: I have to admit, I'm becoming obsessed with Twitter. Seriously. I love it. : ) & Lauren has posted another gorgeous DIY post you have to check out. It's so adorable. : D

So, I've got a number of posts lined up for the next couple of days, some reviews & a couple of random days out. Thankyou all for sticking with me. Hope you're all well & enjoying your half terms if you're lucky to be on holiday. : )

Hey girls, hope you're all well.

Went out last night with the best friends to the pub for some drinks & giggles. It was loads of fun, ending in getting a taxi ride home with one of our old taxi drivers who used to take us to college. I had the biggest laughing fit imaginable. Oh dear.

Seeing as today could use a bit of sunshine, here's a few things I'm loving at the moment. All images from weheartit.

1. Long walks with my dogs, in the woods with all the pretty Autumn leaves.

2. Phone calls with my boy. He's miles away, it's so lovely to here his voice even if it makes me miss him like crazy.

3. Listening to the Les Mis cast performing at work. They all have amazing singing voices.

4. Having drunken chats with the best friend.

5. Jaffa Cakes.

6. Snuggling up to a cosy log fire in the evenings, in my pj's, while watching tv.

7. The Only Way Is Essex, yes, I'm addicted.

8. A cup of tea with biscuits.

9. Phil Collins. Ever since we saw the Tribute band about a month ago, his music is constantly on repeat. Love going to see someone & rediscovering their music.

10. My neighbours still being on holiday. Total bliss.

What are you lovin' at the moment? : )

Peacock Tails

Hi girls, hope you're all well.

I've just got in from a trip to town with my girls. We went to this gorgeous little tea room called The Black Olive, I had a tea as standard, Emz had a hot chocolate & Lauren had a leek soup. I love finding little places around my town that I never knew existed. Especially quaint little tea rooms. : )

Also girls, be proud! I only spent £2! (Well minus the tea, car park & all my mum's birthday presents) But only £2 on myself! I hate the shops at the moment, sales everywhere, which ultimately equals way too much temptation. >.<

So I managed to get this ring from Dorothy Perkins. I've had my eye on it since it came out, but I wouldn't have paid £8.50 for it. However, I saw it the other day for £4 & considered getting it next time I was in town, but today I found it for £2! So happy. : )

I also spotted these gorgeous earrings. I want them so badly..
Buy them here at Dorothy Perkins
How pretty are these?! -sigh-

I'm hopefully going out tonight to the pub with some friends, just for a quiet night of drinks & chatting. : ) Yay. It's so cold though, I'm thinking coat, scarf, gloves & hat. Oh yes. Chat to you all soon darlings. : )

Leicester, Robots & Mushrooms

Hello girls! How are you all?

Firstly, I want to say a massive hello to all my new followers! So nice to meet you all.

& I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to blog in Leicester, our week was jam-packed! I got back yesterday after a 4 hour journey, only to collapse on my bed for a hours nap, then went straight out the door to work. So yeah, I've had a busy couple of days!

Thought I'd show you a couple of snap shots from our long weekend.

Clockwise from top left: my anniversary card from Gords, my present - a Cath Kidston bag!! our tickets to Real Steel & the 'NOM' sticker which was on our nachos.

It was our 2 & a half year anniversary on Friday & we spent the day playing Fifa, then went out for a meal at Nando's & finally went to see Real Steel (the new Hugh Jackman film) in the evening. It was sooo good. I can't believe he bought me a Cath Kidston bag either, how awesome is my boy!?

Sorry this is such a mushy, relationship-y post. I just hate only getting to see him every 3 weeks again now he's back at uni, so when I do, I try to make the most of it.

Hope you're all well girls, I'm trying to catch up on your blogs before I go to work, if I don't get through them all, I'll read the rest tomorrow. : )

Mr. Taylor & His Lady

Have you all met Tanya?

Leicester Bound

Found here

Hey girls, hope you're all well.

I'm off to Leicester tomorrow to visit Gords till Sunday. (It's surprisingly been 3 weeks since he went, gone quite quickly really!) But I'm really excited to see him. It'll be our two & a half years on Friday, no idea what we'll do, but luckily he doesn't have any lectures or anything, so it'll probably be a relaxing day in pj's. : )

My weekend was quite strange, I had work all day Saturday, went out for the evening with the best friends & had a really good night. Then Sunday was just bluergh. I had some news about my family that I'm finding quite hard to take in. You know when someone says ''it'll never happen'' & you totally believe it never will, then it suddenly does happen. Well, that kind of sums the situation up right now.

Anyway, I'll try to blog when I'm away. I think it's Thursday Gords has four hours of lectures, so perfect excuse for me to squeeze in some blogging time. : )

Oh & I'm still looking for sponsors! So check out my sponsor page for more info on how to get involved.

Primark - £2.50

Primark - £2.50

Primark - £1.50
More rings to add to my collection.. I think I've got quite an obsession now. Oh dear. And the bracelet, it was too cute not to buy. : ) I love the little flowers & suede material.

There is still time to check out my sponsor page if you want to get involved. It'll be worth it lovelies, promise. ; )

Barry M & MUA Haul

Hello lovelies. : )

Hope you're all ok. Thought I'd show you some more MUA products I picked up recently.

£4
I love this palette, you can obviously see from the name it's full of glitter eye shadows which I'm a massive fan of. : )

£2.50
So many people have said this blusher is amazing, so I'm looking forward to trying it.

You probably remember the blue nail varnish from this post. I'm still wearing it from a week ago & it's only chipped a little. : ) These were all £1 each.

£1
This is quite a weird lipstick. I fell in love with the colour when I saw it but when it goes on your lips, it's very watery & if you have cracked lips like mine, it does highlight these instead of covering them like some other lipsticks.

£1
Now I LOVE this one. It's beautifully sutle & gorgeous to wear on any skin tone.

Now I'm going to do a proper post on both these next two nail varnishes from Barry M, but for now, here's a sample.

£3.99

£3.99
These are the new Barry M nail varnishes, called 'Foil Effects'. Priced at £3.99, they are a pound more expensive than the regular colours. I haven't tried these on my nails yet, but hoping to wear the silver to a party this weekend, so I'd dead excited about it. : D They actually look amazing.

If you want to check out me rambling on about these products, I have posted a video about them too.

& I'm still having problems commenting on some of your blogs. (Of course it's some of my favorites this is happening too) so I'm really sorry but I am still reading your posts!

& FINALLLLLY! Have you checked out my sponsor page yet? If not.. DO IT NOW! ; D

Do It While You Still Can

Hello darlings.

Thought I'd get my hat out for the last time before it goes away for the Winter. My mum bought me this from Tesco, I'm not sure how much it was because it was a present, but I adore it. It's got the most gorgeous floral ribbon around the rim.

I'm off to town in a bit to pick up (hopefully, I've heard they've nearly sold out) of these two gorgeous nail varnishes from Barry M. I've got quite a few points on my Boots card at the moment, so technically these will be presents to myself. ; )

What I'm lovin' this week; Lauren's DIY Dreamcatcher post, so so so adorable. I want to make one!

& girls, I finally caved & got Twitter. Now.. I'm starting to understand it, there seems to be alot of 'hash keys' & '@ keys' to try & figure out but I'm getting there.. slowly! If any of you have Twitter & want to follow me, I'll put the link on my sidebar or alternatively, click here. I'm going to put up random things & my blog posts on there so you get instant updates when I post. : D

Chinos & A Sausage

Morning girls. : )

It's another gorgeous day in the UK, I'm making the most of it before scooting off to work. Colin Fry is performing tonight & we had Leslie Grantham (Dirty Den to all you Eastenders fans!) performing in a show over the last few days. He came up to me on Friday night & asked if I had a letter for him. I spent a good couple of minutes looking round the office for a envelope addressed to Dirty Den! LOL.

Anyway, this is the outfit I wore shopping the other day. I only have one pair of chinos, not really sure if I'm a fan or not. Don't get me wrong, I love them, just not sure if there for me. : )

Chinos - Primark
Vest top - Primark
Necklace - Dorothy Perkins
Rings - New Look & Dorothy Perkins
Bracelets - Old (unknown)
Nails - MUA - Shade 9

I love all the gorgeous brown & gold shades that come out when Autumn arrives. So simple & pretty.

I wore this outfit with a blazer (because it was surprisingly a lot cooler earlier this week) which is also from Primark!

Hope you're all having an amazing day! : )
